A GUIDE TO VINTAGE STAR WARS FIGURES & ACCESSORIES

DON’T RELY ON JUST THE COO TO IDENTIFY A FIGURE. Mould, paint colour, plastic colour and figure assembly traits are also needed to confirm your figure’s origins.

COO Family I:

UNITOY / Lili Ledy

Above you can see following variants produced by Unitoy (left to right):

  • Unitoy with light grey furstripes and a flesh coloured hood
  • Unitoy with grey furstripes and a flesh coloured hood
  • Unitoy with dark grey furstripes and a white coloured hood

The first 4 Kader figures can be considered as early produced and are more likely to come with “lettered” lightsaber M1.

Above you can see following variants produced by Lili Ledy (left to right):

  • Lili Ledy with light grey furstripes and greyish brown eyes
  • Lili Ledy with light blueish grey furstripes and brown eyes

The Kader China and the French Trilogo figures came with “round tip” saber M5. The Glasslite version came with the resident M8 saber.

Above you can see following variants (left to right):

  • Kader China: raised bar China
  • French Trilogo (Meccano) double raised bar
  • French Trilogo (Meccano) scarred raised bar
  • Glasslite double raised bar
  • POCH with Unitoy head but Kader COO legs. It is a mixed-up figure made out of parts from the blonde Kader and brown Unitoy POCH figures. Some call it “transition” figure but it’s more likely used parts from old and new production mixed in the assembling line.

Teebo is again one of my favourites on Lili Ledy. It is, together with C-3PO removable limbs, the hardest figure to get complete (only counting the standard LL figures). I have pictured two totally different versions which can be both only found in Mexico.

What you can notice first is the different fur colour (lighter and darker stripes) and the slightly different colour to the “feathers” on the headpiece.

On the picture below you can also notice the main difference very quick: the eye colour.

The Teebo on the left has grey eyes and the Teebo to the right has very brown eyes. Both eye colours, as well as both fur colours, are unique compared to all “Kenner” produced figures.
