The Leia Blaster was usually released with the following combinations of colour to figure:
Black-Blue Leia Blaster:
Grey Leia Blaster:
There are 5 main mould variations plus subvariants. More subvariants may exist. As a result of the fact that these were shot on a sprue tree in higher numbers the subvariants may vary heavily depending on the steel mould used.

M4 was produced by UNITOY in Hong Kong. It seems to be a copied and retooled mould from the Taiwan M5. The moulds were also used by LILI LEDY in Mexico. The following colours are known:
- Black-blue
- Blue
- Translucent blue
- Blue, rough surface (LILI LEDY)

M5 was produced by an unknown factory in TAIWAN. It is a very early mould and probably was shot together with the Taiwan Crossbow on one sprue tree. It seems there were two Leia Blasters and two Crossbows on one sprue tree to be specific. The mould definitely made problems (see gates) and so it was retooled or modified at least three times.
The following colours are known:
- Dull black-blue
- Dull black
